for his thesis:
"Utilizing Problem Structure in Planning: A Local Search Approach"
This Award includes a certificate signed by the ECCAI Chair and 1.500 Euros (which include the travel grant for the Award ceremony).
The ECCAI Dissertation Award Presentation took place on 17 September 2003 during the 26th German Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Hamburg.
